    Mohammad Anisur Rahaman Shohagh is an educational leader, entrepreneur, and international school founder in Bangladesh, widely recognized for his contributions to international education, school leadership, and educational innovation. As the Founder, Chairman, and Head of School of Averroes International School Mirpur & Uttara, he has played a transformative role in developing a modern learning environment that integrates British curriculum education, Islamic values, and holistic student development.

    Averroes International School, established leadership in 2016, has grown into one of the leading English-medium international schools in Dhaka, serving over 4,000 students with the support of approximately 650 academic and administrative staff members. The institution is known for its green digital campus, international academic standards, and character-focused education model.

    Early Life and Education

    Mohammad Anisur Rahaman Shohagh was born on December 31, 1981, in Barishal, Bangladesh, where he completed his early education. He later pursued higher studies at the University of Dhaka, earning a Master’s degree in Economics.

    In addition, he completed the Management Development Program (HRMC) at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. He also earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), reflecting a strong multidisciplinary academic foundation in economics, business administration, and management that prepared him for leadership in education and entrepreneurship.

    Professional Contributions

    In addition to his leadership in education, he is an author, publisher, and translator who has written 32 academic books over the years, several of which are widely used across educational institutions.

    Entrepreneurial Journey

    In 2008, Shohagh founded Xperimental Xpressions Bangladesh, working in event management and education management services. He later expanded into international exam facilitation with the British Council, brand representation, and chain business development.

    Leadership in Education

    Since 2017, Shohagh has led Averroes International School Mirpur & Uttara, integrating British curriculum education, Islamic education, modern pedagogy, digital infrastructure, and co-curricular development programs.
